The Guest House
The Stats
Since the Guest House is not currently divided into individual units to rent, guests have the accommodations of the entire 2800 sq. ft. house at their disposal.
The base rate is $349 per night for 4 guests on weeknights or $529 per night for four on weekends/holidays. There is an additional $40 per guest per night for any number over four.
There is a minimum two-night stay and eight guests on weekends and holidays and a minimum of four guests the remaining days.
Single night reservations are allowed during the weekdays (Sunday through Thursday).
There are enough beds to sleep 14 guests (double occupancy on queens/kings).
Check in time is 3 p.m. on arrival date and check out time is 11 a.m. on departure date.
Each of the bedrooms in the guest house offers Tempurpedic beds with comfortable linens.
Internet access is available throughout the property.
The guest house is not set up to accommodate pets or children under 12.
The Space
Kitchen
A full kitchen comes complete with all the items you need to cook and serve a meal. A well-stocked pantry is available with additional paper products. A Keurig coffee maker and a Drip Coffee maker is available in the kitchen . For large groups, juice, coffee, creamers and sweeteners are provided.
Dining
The Dining Room with comfortable seating for eight is a favorite spot for visiting long after guests have finished their meal. The oversized table accommodates additional chairs easily.
Living
The Living Room/TV Room allows guests to relax with access to cable TV. This room leads to the spacious front porch area complete with Adirondack chairs and a porch swing. Be sure to sign our guest book located on the small desk in the corner of the living room.
Utility
The Utility Room comes complete with full size washer/dryer, additional refrigerator/freezer for storage and cleaning supplies in case you have an emergency clean up.
Library
The Library is the "hub" of the house with doors leading to various areas. The game table can be used for extra seating at mealtime. For your fun, there are games, puzzles and books on the shelves of the bookcases. Right off the Library is a full bath generally used for guests in the Purple and Green Palette Rooms.
Outdoors
Guests enjoy lounging either on the front porch with a porch swing and four additional chairs or on the back porch with another porch swing, a table and enough chairs to seat the whole party!
The Rooms
Hill Country
The Hill Country Palette Bedroom is a bedroom right off the master bedroom equipped with a king-sized bed, a Smart TV, small dinette table/chairs, large armoire and rocking chair.
Scarlet
The Scarlet Palette room is a sunny, divided bedroom. On one side guests will find a king-size bed with a large armoire. On the other side is a queen-size bed, armoire and makeup table. Guests will also enjoy a plush sitting area that's perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee with direct access to the spacious and relaxing front porch.
Golden
The Golden Palette Bedroom has a king size bed, make up table, smart TV, full bathroom and large walk-in closet for dressing, luggage, hanging clothes and extra towels/linens. The Golden bedroom is considered the Master Bedroom in the house.
Purple
The Purple bedroom has a queen-size bed and is located right off the library. This bedroom has direct access to the half-bath that also serves the TV/Living room as well as access to the full bath off the library area. This cozy and comfortable room invites quiet time with some of the books available in the bookshelf as well as a rocker and large closet.
White
The White Palette is the sleeping area located upstairs. This bedroom is equipped with one queen-size bed and two twin beds, a large closet and a full bathroom. The staircase entrance is located in the dining room area so guests have direct access to the common areas of the guest house.
